About Douglas King

As a musician for over 25 years, located in the heart of the midwest, I've been honing my music and songwriting skills on various stages and churches from an early age. I've written songs that range from folk to rock, as well as songs of worship.

Writing music that people can relate to in some way has always been a part of my writing language. I tend to write from my own experiences and observations, songs that reflect my heart, my views, and what I care about most. I believe that lends itself to being relatable, as most of us have shared experiences and perspectives, even if we come from different walks of life. You and I aren't as different as we may think. We have far more in common than we may ever know. 

The songs I write come from a place of honesty. If there is one thing most people dislike, it is an imposter...a fake. Rest assured, the songs that I write and sing are nothing short of the genuine article.
